Duke Street in Fredericksburg, VA
VSCLT has begun an exciting new partnership with Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity to acquire and renovate homes for sale to low-income Habitat homebuyers.
VSCLT and Habitat share a vision of creating permanently affordable homes through the innovative CLT model. VSCLT retains ownership of the land and sells the home to income-qualified families, reducing costs, lowering down payments, and easing monthly mortgage burdens—ultimately empowering families to build lasting equity and stability.
Together, our partnership on the Duke Street property combines Habitat's hands-on homebuilding expertise with VSCLT’s sustainable affordability model. This collaboration ensures that families not only have safe, quality homes but also long-term financial security and community stability.
